After founding the MaxWell Clinic and witnessing life-changing results through a systems-based, holistic approach, he set out to scale that success globally. EverBetter is the realization of that vision — a platform where medical science, data intelligence, and technology unite to empower people everywhere to live healthier, longer, and more vibrant lives.

Health Technology Product Leader

Rick is a health technology product leader and iOS developer focused on privacy-first, evidence-based digital health systems that place patients at the center of care. He has led design and development of patient-controlled health data systems, personalized N-of-1 clinical trial applications, and collaborative care coordination tools. A central theme of his work is data sovereignty — designing systems where consent, transparency, and long-term trust are foundational rather than bolted on. He studied at California State University, Northridge.

John is an expert in the security architecture behind modern global commerce. As a pioneer of “tap and pay” NFC technology, he worked directly with the world’s largest credit card companies to build and validate secure transaction systems. During the COVID pandemic he led efforts to improve laboratory workflows, sample management, and data reporting. He is currently a doctoral candidate in biomedical health informatics.
